Repro Bootcamp

Bova is an enthusiastic supporter of the further education of vets such as the Bova Clinical Master's Scholarship in Equine Veterinary Science partnering with the University of Sydney, our on-site vet education evenings and sponsoring chapters at Science Week among many other endeavors. So we were more than happy to sponsor John Chopin and Oliver Liyou's Repro Boot Camp a few weeks ago.

Click here to read more about this fantastic course and to find out how you can be involved in the next course from June 20-27 this year.

As you can see from the referrals below, the participants thoroughly enjoyed the course and learnt a lot from both a practical and theoretical perspective.

Hi,

Just wanted to say thanks for your support for Oliver Liyou's Repro Bootcamp. We're at the course now and it's been fantastic. It is the best course I've ever been on - it covers so many topics and has heaps of theory sessions and practical sessions. The prac sessions are invaluable and make this course so much better than a standard conference. The small group size with John and Oliver as demonstrators also makes it so educational because there's two of them for four of us. Oliver has done an amazing job organising cases and materials for all the pracs which I'm sure would be very difficult without the sponsorship. All of us this week have really enjoyed the course and will be recommending it to our colleagues in the years to come. It will be suited to so many different vets in different styles of practice and at different stages of their career so I think there are so many vets that would like to do this course and would benefit from it. I will certainly be spreading the word about this course!

Hi guys,

My name is Steven Christopher, I am a vet from Cambridge Equine Hospital in New Zealand attending the equine reproduction workshop in Grafton.  I'm writing to express my gratitude for your generous sponsorship of this world class continuing education event. The course has given me so much more than I hoped for. To have a specialist of Dr John Chopin's calibre available for eight days personalised tuition is exceedingly rare. John has an encyclopaedic knowledge of all things reproductive but also a wealth of real life experience. Dr Oliver Liyou is an inspiration with his organisational skills, arranging over 90 hours of lectures and practical sessions in a way that keeps us all focused and fresh. There was always suitable patients and equipment for a wide range of clinical situations.  The evenings provided a relaxed atmosphere for informal discussions and socialising.

When I arrived I lacked confidence when it came time to do anything at the back end of a mare. I now feel confident that I can practice a high standard of repro care in the coming season and am excited about honing my skills with foetal sexing and  embryo transfer in the future.

I will definitely be ordering some of your ovulating hormone combo I'm sure the other vets will quickly convert.

Thank you for again for your valuable contribution to this workshop.

Kind regards

Steven Christopher BVSc
